To establish the Florence Walter Bindery and a one semester course in fine book binding. Donor will provide gifts in kind relating to book binding, plus monetary funds. Mills make space available in our Library for the Florence Walter Bindery and that a one semester course in fine book binding be taught each year using the gift in kinds and materials. The course would be both to undergraduate and graduate students. I understand that two or three people in the Bay Area are qualified to teacher such a course and we would plan to engage one of them as a part-time faculty member at Mills.
