Our flexible programs work for professionals already in their careers, people looking to change direction, and recent graduates ready for advanced training. Students build the skills Maine needs without leaving their communities. 

Research That Matters Here Our faculty and students work on problems specific to Maine—sustainable aquaculture, climate resilience, healthcare access, advanced manufacturing. This research creates partnerships and economic impact, not just academic papers. 

Entrepreneurship Programs That Launch Companies We help founders at every stage build businesses in healthcare and life sciences, climate and sustainability, and national security and govtech. These are the companies that will employ Mainers and anchor our economy for decades. 

The Portland Campus Opening in 2027 Our permanent campus will be a purpose-built innovation hub in Portland. This facility expands what we can do—more students, more research, more space for the startups and partnerships that drive Maine forward.
