The Roux Institute is building a permanent home to secure our impact for Maine and its residents. Our new Portland campus will transform the iconic 13.5-acre B&M Bean Factory site into a hub for research, entrepreneurship, and education. This sustainable campus will include a 238,000-sq. ft. academic building equipped with wet labs, research spaces, and community gathering areas and the renovated B&M Bean Building will house an innovation lab for local entrepreneurs and startups. Waterfront restoration with trails and open spaces will connect the site to Back Cove and Eastern Promenade.
