The Network Science Institute (NetSI) is a global leader in interdisciplinary research and education dedicated to understanding the complex networks that shape our world. From the spread of diseases, and information, to dynamics of urban networks, social systems, and human-AI teams—networks are at the core of the most pressing challenges and opportunities of our time.

At NetSI, researchers and students work together to uncover how interconnected systems behave, evolve, and influence one another across biological, social, and technological domains. With a unique PhD program in Network Science—the only one of its kind in the United States—and a growing Master’s program in Complex Network Analysis, NetSI is training the next generation of scientists to think across disciplines and tackle complexity with innovative, data-driven approaches.
