Northeastern University Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) selects, educates, and trains Cadets of character to commission as officers in the Total Army Force. ROTC also partners with Junior ROTC programs in the area to prepare them for ROTC and instill the values of citizenship, national and community service, and personal responsibility. Northeastern Army ROTC aims to commission Second Lieutenants of character that have cognitive, interpersonal, and cultural skills necessary to make sound judgements in complex environments. Gifts to the Northeastern University ROTC Alumni Society will be used to support ROTC and Cadet programs on campus including the commissioning ceremony.
