The class of 1986 fund provides co-op stipends and loan deferral/forgiveness for students and graduates pursuing public interest law. The Fund was established in 2011 by generous classmates in honor of their 25th Reunion and is now endowed. To receive a co-op stipend, a student must be enrolled full-time in the School of Law and participating in a Public Interest Law co-op. To receive a Loan Deferral/Forgiveness grant, they must be a graduate from the School of Law and be practicing in Public Interest Law and meet the eligibility requirements for the Loan Deferral/Forgiveness program as outlined by the School of Law.
