Recipients of this scholarship will be selected by the Center for Co-Op and Career Development in consultation with the dean of NUSL. Candidates must be full-time students enrolled in NUSL and must apply or be nominated for the scholarship. One or more students will be selected based on youth advocacy and/or community building work they do or accomplish through experiential learning or career development. This includes work that takes place on co-op or through extracurricular activities/accomplishments. Preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated experience living or working in historically black communities.
