Security and Sustainability are key areas of focus at Northeastern University, home to an array of leading-edge engineering research centers and laboratories fueled by major federal grants and industry partnerships.
The STReSS Lab enables critical advances in both realms, as structures and their components are tested for resilience against both man-made and natural hazards and events.
This fund will be used at the discretion of the chair for such purposes as purchasing and maintaining equipment for the STReSS Lab.
