In the AI for Impact Co-op Program, students partner with seasoned professionals to wield AI as a tool for transformative innovation, turning ideas into measurable impacts for the communities they serve. Students in the co-op have worked on projects to help low-income families apply for federal broadband benefits, support families negotiate their children's IEPs, improve constituent communications with the United States Congress, and more. The fund will be administered by the director of the Burnes Center or their designee, and the purpose of the fund is to support students' co-ops in the AI for Impact: Social Change Through Technology program.
