Established in his memory, the Don Comb Research Co-op Fund at the Ocean Genome Legacy (OGL) Center provides undergraduate students with real-world research experience, from forming research questions and designing experiments, to conducting lab work, analyzing data, and presenting results. The OGL program gives students an extraordinary and highly challenging educational experience, including the opportunity to contribute as a co-author to peer-reviewed scientific publications, an achievement few undergraduates can claim.
