NU IGH is composed of three different groups that work together to bring healthcare to underserved regions. These groups include design, STEM outreach, and Campus to Country groups.

The design group designs and prototypes low-cost, sustainable medical devices tailored to the needs of low-resource hospitals in the developing world. The STEM outreach group strives to educate the Boston community about global health issues through classroom activities, workshops, and the annual Global Health Innovation Summit.

The Campus to Country group establishes and maintains international partnerships and sends students abroad on our service trips. On these trips, students have the opportunity to work alongside biomedical engineers, technicians, and clinicians to assess partner hospital's needs and work to develop long-term solutions. IGH also teaches workshops geared towards providing local technicians with the basic principle of medical device design. Your generous donation will help save lives across the world.
